This is my first post on this blog. I thought that I should perhaps begin my blogging with a “proper” photograph of myself. The photograph on the other hand isn’t perhaps that proper as you can’t really see my face but anyways.
My name is Fia, I’m a 21 year old photogarpher from the southern cost of Finland. I’ve been photographing since i was 14 years old. My mama got me a camera for my 14th birthday and I’ve been hooked ever since that day. I started shooting on film in 2008. My love for the old way of photography has grown stronger day by day and today I have my very own darkroom in our bathroom.
what do I do besides photography? I’ve been skateboarding since about three years back and I love it. I’m also very much into food since both my parents are in the restaurant business. I love spending lot’s of time outdoors and during summetime I swim quite a lot. Reading is another thing i like spending hours doing.
So this is who I am in a nutshell, take care!
I’ve uploaded more images to my website. These are the photos I took and destroyed while staying in Estonia. Most of them are taken in Tartu.

KUMU had amazing architecture. My favorite show was the photography and the sound art exhibition. I have not seen anything like it before. Spending my last day here was a great idea. I will post more of the project very soon.
My wood prints on wood. Part of my project in Estonia. Check out the rest here on my website.

My magical journey to Sweden started with a short plane flight from Tallinn to Stockholm. It was the easiest part of my trip to Harlösa because I had to took one bus and two different trains and I wasn’t quite sure how does the system works. But I was really calm about it – because I had quality time in railway station. I was waiting, making some pictures and listening some music.
Tallinn old town only one more day left to go. It’s really beautiful here and the history is really fascinating. I’m looking forward to staying here and discovering more of its essence tomorrow.
On this day I got to visit a nearby gallery and looked at work from graduate students at the Tartu Art University. Then later on in the evening we had a wonderful dinner together at the Printing Museum.
